Specialist Alternative Education

TPP Specialist Alternative education services runs from our Ingatestone site and outreach in the community. We work with children 5-25 with or without and EHCP. 

We have two pathways; a Talking therapy only and Learning and Therapy combined. The pathway a child will come to us on will depend on collaborative assessments as well as risk. 

Our days run Monday-Fridsy, 09.30-1500. Child may attend for a therapy hour or longer (no more than 17.5 hours per week). We provide a unique low demand learning environment catered to the unique needs of children. 

Our service is aimed to support young persons through the transitional needs and support struggles children may have which means they can not be in school for what ever reasons.   

 TPP will support growth in confidence, low level to high-level emotional wellbeing support, employment skills, social skills, time management, animal care experience, and many more. 

We are also offering a therapeutic mentoring 12 session programme especially targeted to support children either with or without an EHCP. Our therapeutic work will aim to support re-engagement with learning and a setting, support for all to understand and support behaviour communication, also family support with focus on relationships. 

TPP is also very proud to be working in partnership to award qualifications (AQA) for experiences achieved at TPP.
