Holly is qualified Mental Health Nurse, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, Equine Facilitated Practitioner, Behavioural Family Therapist and Specialist Named Safeguarding professional. (Other background training in Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing )
Holly is also mum to Piglet- our Therapy pooch.
Holly specialises working with children, teens, adults and families that would benefit with emotional well-being and support. Holly’s specialty’s includes working with children with specialist needs, working with a solution focused approach facilitating spaces with our therapy animals that’ll support recovery and healing. Holly is passionate about ensuring EVERYONE has access to TPP .
Therapeutic Lead at The Peaceful Pony, Tash was originally a primary schoolteacher who retained as a counsellor in 2001.
Tash has worked with all age ranges using an integrative approach to therapy. Integrative means that she has studied a variety of therapeutic approaches and blends them together for each individual client.
She has her own therapy dog Sparkle and has a lifetime’s experience with horses. Tash firmly believes in the healing and calming power of animals. Her specialities are teenagers and adults.
A Senior Support worker and Yard Manager at The Peaceful Pony. Jenna has been around horses for as long as she can remember. She has one BIG baby (horse) named Bayley.
Jenna supports our groups but her specialist area is supporting persons on a one to one level. Jenna's talent is helping people find their own sparkle and shine.
Jenna's ambitions to become a Therapist.
Cara is a Mental health nurse working with her therapy dog Peaches. Cara still works in NHS services as well as being a Mental Health Therapist at TPP. Cara has won a NHS improvement to services award, Published with RCN. Cara is also undertaking a research fellowship at UCL.
Kaz is a Therapist and Equine Facilitated Practitioner. Kaz was TPP first ever volunteer in 2020 and has started full Time with us December 2022.
Kaz works alongside our therapy team providing specialist one to one support to children and adults, she also supports our dual pathway for therapy and Alternative Education
A Senior Support Worker who also has Harley one of our other Therapy Dogs (who is usually found running off chewing a grooming brush!). Emily has two of her own horses and also has been around them for as long as she can remember.
Emily support one to one sessions but mainly leads in groups where Emily comes alive. It's always great fun when a session is being led by Emily.
Emily loves her role and would like to purse her goals of supporting more ridden work at The Peaceful Pony by teacher in the future.
An Alternative Education Lead who works with children and young teenagers who might be home schooled or taken out of school to come along The Peaceful Pony for their Alt Ed days on a weekly basis.
Jolyne interacts with the children to encourage them to take part in fun activities and also help them learn about what it's like to be around animals.
